A technology and art extension has been added at first floor level
by inserting a timber framed and clad box on top of the existing
one-storey administration and dining block, and linking this in
with other facilities at first floor level. The extension is designed
to bring natural light and ventilation into the centre of the school
and to allow the new facilities to integrate with the existing in
both complementary and contrasting ways.
